Din, mitoloji ve gelenek üçgeninde divan şairinin duygu, düşünce hayalleriyle birçok edebî tür farklı nazım şekilleriyle yazılmıştır. Münazaralar da şiirinde sıkça görülen türler arasındadır. Kökeni Sümerce Akadca metinlere kadar dayanan münazaralar ulusların edebiyatlarında karşımıza çıkar. Diyaloğun esas alındığı münazaralarda somut-soyut tüm varlıkların karşılaştırılması mümkündür. Karşılaştırma üzerinden kurgulanan tartışma bir sonuca bağlanır. Varlıkların bu şairlerce yapıldığında mukayese şiir diliyle ifadesini bulur. Şairlerin ile hayallerinin yanı sıra sosyal hayatın yansımasını görebildiğimiz önemli yer tutar.
 Hacı Mirza Mehdi, 19. yüzyılın sahibi şairlerindendir. Tebriz'de doğmuş Şukûhî mahlasıyla şiirler yazmıştır. de geleneği içerisinde münazara Şairin “Münâzara-ı Akl u Aşk” adlı mesnevisi akıl aşk gibi iki soyut varlığın mukayesesini barındırması açısından oldukça önemlidir. Bu çalışmada eserin ilk kez Latin harfleriyle transkripsiyonu yapılmıştır. Makalede transkripsiyonlu metnin şekil muhteva özellikleri incelenmiştir.
